Privacy policy

Effective date: October 15, 2026

This policy covers toolprices.pro ("the site"). Upper Deerfield Ventures LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company in the United States, runs the site. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Upper Deerfield Ventures LLC.

The site has no accounts, no sign-up forms, and no comment boxes. You can read every page without telling us who you are. The rest of this policy explains the small amount of data that is still collected when you visit, who collects it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

We don't ask you for any personal information on this site. Data is collected in three ways when you visit.

1. Google Analytics 4. A script from Google records how the site is used. It records the pages you view, how long you stay, how far you scroll, links you click that lead to other sites, the site that referred you, your approximate location (city and country, worked out from your IP address), and your device type, browser, operating system, and screen size. Google Analytics gives your browser a random identifier, stored in a cookie, so it can tell a returning visitor from a new one.
2. Cloudflare Web Analytics. A second script, from Cloudflare, measures page load speed and counts page views. It records the page URL, the referring site, your browser and device type, your country, and timing measurements. It doesn't use cookies or any other storage on your device.
3. Hosting. Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web server, Cloudflare receives your IP address, browser user agent, the page you asked for, and the time of the request. Cloudflare uses this to deliver pages and to block attacks.

We don't use local storage, session storage, or any other browser storage on this site, apart from the Google Analytics cookies described below and, for visitors in the EU/EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, one local storage entry (udv_consent) that remembers your cookie choice.

Why we collect it

We use analytics to see which pages people read, which vendor pricing pages are useful, where visitors come from, and whether the site loads fast. We use that to decide what to write and fix next. Cloudflare uses request data to serve the site and keep it secure.

We don't use any of this data to show you ads, and we don't build profiles of individual visitors.

Cookies and how to opt out

The only cookies on this site come from Google Analytics.

Cloudflare Web Analytics sets no cookies.

If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the server works out your country from your connection when it sends the page (we don't store it) and shows you a cookie banner. Google Analytics then sets no cookies and collects no analytics data unless you choose Accept. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under udv_consent, and you can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Visitors from other countries don't see a banner, and Google Analytics runs as described above.

You can stop Google Analytics from collecting data about you in any of these ways:

• Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Block or delete cookies for toolprices.pro in your browser settings.
• Use a browser or extension that blocks tracking scripts. This also stops Cloudflare Web Analytics.

The site works the same with all of these turned on.

Affiliate links

Some buttons on vendor pricing pages are marked as affiliate links. When an affiliate link is live, clicking it takes you to the vendor's site with a tag that tells the vendor we sent you. If you buy, the vendor may pay us a commission. The vendor, or the affiliate network it uses, may set its own cookies on its own site to track that referral. Those cookies are covered by the vendor's privacy policy, not this one.

As of the effective date, no affiliate partnership is active and no affiliate button leads to a partner. When we add partners, we will list them here.

Links to vendors' official pricing pages are ordinary links and carry no tracking tag from us. When you follow any link off the site, your browser tells the other site only that you came from toolprices.pro, not which page you were on.

Who else receives data

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. These companies process data for us:

We have turned off Google signals, and our Google Analytics account is not linked to Google Ads or any other advertising product. Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. If we sell or transfer the site, the analytics data goes with it, and this policy continues to apply to it.

Both Google and Cloudflare are based in the United States and process data there and in other countries. Both take part in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

• Google Analytics keeps event-level data, such as a single page view tied to a browser ID, for 2 months. It keeps data about each browser ID for up to 14 months, and that period starts again each time the same browser comes back. Totals in standard reports, such as page views per day, have no visitor IDs and may be kept longer.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics shows us totals only. Cloudflare keeps that data under its own retention rules.
• We don't keep our own server logs. We have not turned on any Cloudflare log export. Cloudflare keeps its operational logs under its own policy.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you
• give you a copy of it
• correct it
• delete it
• stop using it, or use it only in limited ways

We hold no names, emails, or accounts for this site, so in most cases the only data about you is the random Google Analytics ID in your browser. We can't link that ID to you unless you send it to us. If you do, we can ask Google to delete the data tied to it. Deleting your cookies has a similar effect, because your next visit gets a new ID.

If you live in California or another U.S. state with a privacy law, you have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don't sell or share personal information as those laws define it, so there is nothing to opt out of. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights. You can use an authorized agent to make a request for you.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and keeping it secure. You can object to that use, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email us at the address under "Contact us". We'll reply within 30 days. We may ask for details to confirm the request is yours.

Children

The site is written for adults who buy software for businesses. It is not meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, so data sent between your browser and the site is encrypted in transit. Because the site has no forms or accounts, we don't store any information you type. Access to our Google and Cloudflare accounts is limited to Upper Deerfield Ventures. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't promise that data will never be exposed.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change affects how we use data we already hold, we will say so at the top of the page for at least 30 days.
